    Fresh Baked Goods, Soups and Sandwiches made daily; Sold on site for eat-in or carry out Café is in a Gallery setting, in a quaint 1857 Historic Building at the northern end of Edinburg; Penelope’s menu changes daily to include Pastry, Bread, Soup and Sandwich of the DAY. Some gluten-free items are always available. Fresh brew, cold brew and espresso coffees all ground from locally roasted coffees. Indoor, outdoor and carry-out dining options offered.

  • Swover Creek Farms

    We are a Virginia Century Farm recognized for continuous operation by the same family for over 100 years. We grow a variety of berries for u-pick. We also have a commercial kitchen and farm store selling farm-crafted sausages and other items. In 2014, we opened our taproom and farm brewery in our converted barn! Local menu items available for purchase at the brewery. Brewery hours: Thurs 3-9pm, Fri-Sat 12-8pm, Sun 12-7pm, Mon 12-6. Closed Tue-Wed.

A devout supporter of Virginia’s Buy Fresh Buy Local initiative, we pride ourselves in the use of local and farm fresh products and even many items raised on our farm or from the Saturday Farmer’s Market held at the nursery.
